I got a call from the Boulder Daily Camera newspaper last week, asking for permission to photograph me photographing a wedding for an article on marriage rates in Boulder. My extremely gracious clients, Jane and Tom Glenn, agreed to have the Daily Camera photographer take a few pictures at their wedding. And voila, the image is now in print. Andrea and Steve’s Mountain Wedding

Andrea and Steve held their wedding at a private residence in the mountains west of Boulder. This was a fun and relaxed wedding. I loved working with these two and their families! Thank you to Rachel with Talia Events for putting together this beautiful event!

Amy and Aaron’s Boulder Wedding

Amy and Aaron were married this month at the Red Lion Inn in Boulder. I just loved Aaron’s facial expressions during the wedding ceremony. He and Amy are so in love! They are a fun, warm, and laid back couple. I enjoyed every aspect of this wedding. Lovely people, perfect weather, beautiful event.

Lisa and Sebastian’s Boulder Wedding

Lisa and Sebastian were married earlier this month at the Greenbriar Inn in Boulder. The love between these two is palpable. Both are musicians, and both have very emotive facial expressions. I loved photographing them!

I am so glad I got to work again with Amy, David, and their daughter Samantha! Samantha is now 3. This little gal has a mind of her own! She is sassy and full of personality. Throughout our session, Samantha refused to look at the camera and made a real effort to do the opposite of what I asked her to do. This didn’t bother me, as she is absolutely adorable — even when pouting

Raven is one year old, and she is an absolute delight to photograph. Wow, look at those eyes! Clearly her defining feature. She also has the cutest crawl I’ve ever seen.

Kate and Chas’ Denver Wedding

Kate and Chas’ wedding was an absolute dream to photograph! They are one of the most expressive couples I have ever met. Joy, love, laughter, and funny faces filled every moment of the day. I loved this wedding!

Ashley and Jeff’s Beaver Creek Wedding

Ashley and Jeff were married at Beano’s Cabin in Beaver Creek. What a gorgeous day for a wedding! Nothing but sun and blue sky. Ashley and Jeff are such a fun, relaxed couple. I loved working with these two and their families! Both sets of parents were beaming the entire day, and everyone at this wedding was just so happy. Ashley and Jeff are obviously a great match. Congratulations you two!

Ashley and Jeff’s Lyons Engagement Portrait

Ashley and Jeff joined me in Lyons for their engagement portrait session earlier this summer. Our session was a bit of an adventure. I am a self-proclaimed “outdoorsy” person. I love to hike, camp, and be outside. But how outdoorsy am I when encountering a rattlesnake in the wild? Not very!! Ashley almost stepped on a rattlesnake during our shoot. When this happened, I practically jumped onto Jeff’s back in fear, and I refused to get close enough to it to even take a picture. Ashley and Jeff were great sports, and didn’t seem too bothered by the unwelcome encounter.
